Halina Duraj

Writer Halina Duraj will present a reading on October 9 at 7 p.m. in Room LL430 of the SDSU Library as part of the Hugh C. Hyde Living Writers Series. The event is free and open to all.

Duraj  is an assistant professor of English at the University of San Diego. Her fiction and nonfiction have been published in literary journals such as Witness, Third Coast, and Confrontation. Her novel, Fatherland, was a finalist for the 2010 University of California, Davis, Maurice Prize in Fiction.

The Hugh C. Hyde Living Writers Series is sponsored by the SDSU Department of English and Comparative Literature through an endowment from San Diego writer Hugh C. Hyde.
