Barry Maid

Barry Maid will be the featured speaker for the fall 2013 Landmark Lecture, which is sponsored by the Department of Rhetoric and Writing Studies. The free lecture will be held on October 24 at 4 p.m. in Room LL430 of the SDSU Library.

Maid is a professor and former program head of technical communication at Arizona State University. He has published numerous articles and chapters on technology, independent writing programs, and program administration and is the co-author of The McGraw-Hill Guide: Writing for College, Writing for Life. His topic for this lecture is “The Writing Major: Making Connections.”
