Writer Mariela Griffor will be the featured artist at the Laurie Okuma Memorial Reading on April 10 at 7 p.m. in Room LL430 of the SDSU Library. The event is free and open to all.
Griffor was born in Concepcion in southern Chile and attended the University of Santiago and the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. She is the author of Exiliana and House and the co-founder of The Institute for Creative Writers at Wayne State University and Publisher of Marick Press. Her work has appeared in periodicals across Latin America and the United States.
