The Tutoring Center is a learning commons pilot project funded by Provost Nancy Marlin. The Library is developing partnerships with SDSU student success programs and services. The following services are currently available.
Writing Center (Rhetoric & Writing Department) Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Fall 2013 hours
The writing center is moving to PSFA-116, on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 New writing center details.
The service is provided on a first-come-first-served basis. During the 15 minute session tutors collaborate with tutees to identify strengths and weaknesses and suggest way to remedy them; clarify and elaborate upon terms or prompts that might be unclear; be an additional resource in acclimating to academic language. Tutors will not edit, proofread, write or revise papers.
