Digital Humanities Workshop: Knightlab Visualization Tools

Join us in the Digital Humanities Center (LA 61) for our new monthly DH Workshop Series. This workshop will be hands-on tutorial with several Knightlab Visualization Tools, including TimelineJS, StoryMapJS, and JuxtaposeJS. Please bring a laptop, if you have one.

Public, Oral, and Digital (P.O.D.) History Series Kick-Off Panel

This will be the kick-off event for a series dedicated to exposing the student body to public, oral, and digital history methods partnered with the USC Shoah Foundation and SDSU faculty. This panel will be followed by a space-available workshop on the use of digital oral history archives for research and for use in the classroom, hosted by Phi Alpha Theta and conducted by the USC Shoah Foundation.

The Faculty Research Group studies research in digital humanities but also works on creating our own. We meet once a month in the Digital Humanities Center (LA 61) to learn collaboratively and collectively about digital humanities research, tools, methods, and teaching.
