Twine Workshop 9/13

Twine is a simple-to-use web-based platform for writing electronic literature and video games. It's fun and extremely easy to use--someone without any coding experience will be able to make a game in an hour. 

Bring your laptop and creativity. DH Center laptops will also be available for use.

The faculty research group of DH@SDSU is a reading group that serves as the central hub for building a research community around topic and questions related to Digital Humanities. Faculty from across disciplines meet once-a-month (and over lunch!) to discuss readings in the field of digital humanities. In the process, we are creating a cohort of research faculty interested in exploring how traditional humanities matter in and for our digital world.

Common Experience: Virtual Reality in Education

Part of the Common Experience: Imagination program, this event features TED-esque talks and a panel discussion by 5-6 faculty from around campus using virtual and immersive technologies in their courses. Following the discussion there will be small break-out demos to give a hands on experience to the attendees.
