Project Description

Fall 2015, students will discover the Student Computing Center (SCC) has a whole new look and a new name: from flooring and paint to mixed use furniture. The revamped Library Computing Hub will have more electrical outlets for laptops and mobile devices, as well as 10 adjustable height workstations. Overall seating capacity on the ground floor of Love Library will increase by 64%.

SCC Usage

The heavy use of the SCC was underscored in a recent survey by our newest librarians. Data in the SDSU Syllabus Collection was analyzed for references to the library. The librarians discovered that “SCC” appeared more than any other area of the library. Apparently, professors all across campus direct students to use the library's SCC.
