A message from our Library Dean:
As we move forward from one of the most divisive election seasons in memory, I would like to echo President Hirshman’s message about campus unity. In many ways, our Library is a family and I encourage us all to be kind and show empathy for each other. Students, you may have concerns, especially in view of the violent incident yesterday. We support you and can help you find available campus resources.
From what I have seen on our campus and in our Library, each and every one of us is passionate about providing an inclusive, welcoming Library in which students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to explore, reflect, and discover. In that effort, I know we in the Library will, as the President noted, “reaffirm our community’s commitment to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all members of our community.”
