Home >> Library Reopening
As of September 2nd, 2020 the reopening has been paused for at least four weeks. Please see https://library.sdsu.edu/covid-19 for the latest library status.

We're pleased to announce that the 24/7 Study Area reopened on Monday, August 24.

Open hours are Monday-Friday 9 am-noon, 1-5 pm and Sunday noon-4 pm.

For everyone’s safety, only the 24/7 Study Area will be open, and only to current students, faculty and staff. Facial coverings are required at all times, and physical distancing requirements will be enforced. Please bring your SDSU ID card with you and be prepared to have your temperature checked before entry. Please review the university guidelines for preventing transmission of the coronavirus for more information.

Access to 34 windows computers, 6 MacOS computers and 5 high performance desktops will be available, as well as self-use black & white and color printers and study tables. At this time, no specialized printing services are available (aka poster printing, binding, etc.). Users will be admitted on a first-come first-served basis, and will need to wait in a socially-distanced line outside of the library until space is available. Capacity limits will be noted at the entrance.

The library building will be completely closed from noon-1 p.m. for deep cleaning and all users must exit the building during this time. The library will not be open on Saturday. All other areas of the library will remain closed.

The SDSU Library is committed to providing students and faculty the services they require for coursework and research in a safe environment. Please note that all hours and procedures are subject to change based on campus, county health department, state and federal guidelines, and the needs of the SDSU community.
