Content Organization and Management

The Monographs Unit acquires, catalogs, and makes available monographic material in book, microform, media, electronic, and special formats. Acquisitions operations include ordering, receiving, maintaining WebPAC records, processing invoices for payment, maintaining fiscal records, and preparing books for binding. Cataloging operations include obtaining or creating cataloging records, maintaining WebPAC records for public display, updating WWW links for electronic access, maintaining library holdings in WorldCat, and marking and labeling library books.
