Psyched for the rescheduled summer games in Tokyo?

We are too, and we have some library resources to share.

Databases like SPORTDiscus and PubMed will have both scholarly and popular articles about the top athletes competing for gold. For instance, you can search SPORTDiscus for the name of your favorite Olympic hopeful to see what's been written about them. PubMed is great for finding out the science behind COVID-19 and how officials are working to keep athletes and everyone else safe. Of course all of our news sources will have the latest results and information on athletes to watch.

Interested in the history of the Olympics? We have many books in the collection, including ones about women in the Olympics, choosing the cities to host, and histories of the modern games.

And if you're wishing you could be in Tokyo to watch the events in person, we have both online and print guidebooks such as Top 10 Tokyo to get you set for when we _can_ travel to Japan again.
