Explorations in AI virtual learning community. March 20 12-1pm on Zoom. Registration via QR code (link to register is listed below)
Mar 20 2023 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Please join us on March 20 for our second “Explorations in AI” Learning Community Meeting presented by the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Digital Humanities Initiative. We will continue our critical conversations of AI Writing Systems and what they might mean for us as university faculty.

To explore some of the inner workings as well as context surrounding AI beyond the hype and headlines, we invite you to read the blog post “We come to bury ChatGPT, not to praise it” by Dan McQuillan. The meeting will begin with a brief overview of the ideas raised and the post be used as a springboard for our discussion, with the option to go down various other paths. Reading the post, while encouraged, is not a prerequisite for joining our conversation.

Please sign up to attend our Zoom meeting on Monday, March 20, 12pm-1pm. Bring your questions, thoughts and experiences.

If you weren’t able to join us on February 20, you can view the recording here: Explorations in AI, Faculty Learning Community, Meeting 1
