Celebrating SDSU Scholarship

SDSU authors at the 2026 Book Celebration

Every other year, the Division of Research and Innovation brings the SDSU community together to celebrate the work of faculty and staff who have recently published books or other monographic works. This year's celebration, reflecting works published between 2024 and 2026, included Sciences and Sustainability Librarian Sarah Tribelhorn for her publication, as co-editor, of Case Exemplars of How Libraries Promote Sustainable Communities (2026), and STEM Librarian Jenny Wong-Welch for her publication, as co-editor, of Toward Inclusive Academic Librarian Practices (2024).

Works recognized in the SDSU Book Celebration will join more than 1,600 works already included in the "SDSU Authors Collection" available through the University Library. In celebrating the work of SDSU authors and providing access to the scholarship they produced, the University Library and Division of Research and Innovation promote the culture of scholarship so important to any research university, build community among SDSU authors, and strengthen a distinctive component of our library collections.

We encourage you to explore the SDSU Authors Collection (and the breadth and depth of scholarship produced by the SDSU community), and, if you are an SDSU author whose work is not already included, to contact your liaison librarian to request that it be added.
