Historic Collaboration with IMAC
On August 14th, SDSU and the Instituto Municipal de Arte y Cultura (IMAC) in Tijuana, Mexico signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding for collaborations to preserve the history and culture of the US-Mexico border region. The SDSU Library, the SDSU Sage Project and IMAC are already partnering to digitize and provide online access to the unique collections of images at the Archivo Histórico in Tijuana. The intent of the MoU is to strengthen these established relationships and to further our common interests in preserving the stories of the people, events and places of our shared border.
Samples of the digitized images can be found at digitalcollections.sdsu.edu
