How to Copy On-Site
While in our reading room, visitors may make their own duplications using our self-service BookEye scanner. Patrons can save scans to a USB drive, or can email scans to themselves free of charge. All duplication requests must be carefully reviewed by Reading Room staff.
Restrictions may apply to collections due to confidentiality of certain records, donor agreements, copyright restrictions, or fragility of materials. (Note that permission to reproduce does not constitute permission to publish.) Some materials may not be available for duplication due to condition. We reserve the right to limit duplication.
How to Order Duplications
To request duplications of materials from SDSU Library and Information Access, Special Collections and University Archives, please send an email to askscua AT sdsu DOT edu asking if such material is available for duplication.
Upon approval, carefully read and sign the first page and then fill out the second page of the Duplication Request Form (PDF). Orders cannot be filled until payment is received. We do not accept credit cards. Send both pages of the form and a check or money order, made payable to the SDSU Research Foundation, for the total cost of duplications, plus the cost of delivery method, plus the $5.00 processing fee to:
