The Library is pleased to be partnering once again with the English & Comparative Literature Department to present an exciting slate of authors for the fall 2024 season of the Hugh C. Hyde Living Writers Series.

Mostly set in the future and focused on dystopian societies dealing with the consequences of climate change, Cli-Fi provides some glimpses of what the future might hold if we fail to stabilize our environment.

This year we’d like to acknowledge the intersection of National Poetry Month and Earth Day, so we have assembled a list of some recent poetry books that focus on nature and the environment.

The Hugh C. Hyde Living Writers Series is returning to the library with a fresh roster of noteworthy writers who will be reading from recent works of poetry and prose.

As the new school year begins, we are looking forward to the upcoming season of the Hugh C. Hyde Living Writers Series. As the nation’s longest-running series of its kind, its events are always much anticipated by the SDSU literary community.
