Building Access

We are open to current members of the SDSU community (students, staff, faculty, and emeriti faculty) and the public. Our hours calendar has the most up-to-date information.

Please note that we do not currently have computers available for guest use. 

Safety Protocols

Effective 10/8: facial coverings are strongly encouraged in the Library, in accordance with campus policy

Eating is allowed in the 24/7 Study Area, the 3rd floor Study Area, and the Laptop Lounge, per our policy on food-friendly areas.

Hand sanitizer dispensers are located throughout the library.

Study Spaces

Sorry, we do not have any single person study rooms.

Quiet study is available on the entire 5th floor of Love Library and on the 2nd floor of the Library Addition in Room LA2203.

Open study rooms are available.

Group study rooms can be booked.

Library Spaces

Certain areas of the Library have specific opening hours.

Special Collections and University Archives: Open Mon-Fri, 10 am to 4 pm, no appointment needed.

buildIT: Open Mon-Thurs, 10 am to 4 pm.

Digital Humanities Center: Open Mon-Fri, 10 am to 4 pm.
