Building Access
We are open to current members of the SDSU community (students, staff, faculty, and emeriti faculty) and the public. Our hours calendar has the most current information.
As of Saturday, April 9, you no longer need to show your "cleared on campus" medallion or proof of vaccine in the Bindle app.
Safety Protocols
Facial coverings are required, in accordance with campus policy.
Eating is allowed only in the 24/7 Study Area. No eating or food vending allowed in public spaces outside of the 24/7 Study Area.
Hand sanitizer dispensers are located throughout the library.
Study Spaces
Sorry, we do not have any single person study rooms.
Quiet study is available on the entire 5th floor of Love Library and on the 2nd floor of the Library Addition in Room LA2203.
Open study rooms are available.
Group study rooms can be booked.
Library Spaces
Certain areas of the Library have specific opening hours.
Special Collections and University Archives: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm by appointment. To request assistance or an appointment, please complete this form and a team member will respond within 2 business days.buildIT: Monday to Thursday, 10 am - 5 pm, Friday noon - 5 pm.
Digital Humanities Center: Services and studios are available Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm when classes are in session. Mondays through Thursdays, the space remains open for general study from 4pm until the library closes (event-related exceptions will be posted).
