The library offers a self-guided tour that explores the physical library and online library spaces that you can take on your phone. The self-guided tour uses QR codes to access the content for each stop and there is light walking between each stop. The tour starts at the Dome entrance in the Library Addition.

Special Collections & University Archives holds more than 80,000 single issue "floppy" comic books. We are working hard to make them browsable in our online comics catalog, the SDSU Comics Hub.

Scientists, artists, librarians, and historians from the Comic Studies Collaborative will come together at this year's Comic Con to showcase research on topics of social and racial justice, activism, science, and academics, all tied to comics. 

This collection documents artwork on public display in the San Diego State University (SDSU) Library as of June 2026. The content includes artwork that relates to and supports the Africana Studies Collection and the Chicana/o Collection, as well as two major photography collections and several significant large-scale murals.
